Bogota Metro Line 1 

The Bogotá Metro Line 1 is the first subway line in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. Construction on the project began in 2021 and is expected to be completed and operational in 2028. Its design highlights include a state-of-the-art GoA4 fully automated driverless system, train car designs inspired by the Andean condor (Colombia's national bird), and an innovative elevated U-shaped beam structure running along the entire line. This metro line, hailed as Colombia's "century-long dream project," will become the main artery of Bogotá's public transportation system upon completion, with an expected daily ridership of over one million people, effectively alleviating urban traffic congestion and reducing carbon emissions.
