Huangshan Tourism Train

On October 15, 2025, the first phase of the Huangshan Tourism Line T1 project officially commenced construction in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. The line starts at Huangshan North Station and ends at Huangshan Scenic Area East Gate Station (Tanjiaqiao Station), spanning approximately 43.6 kilometers and featuring eight stations. As a dedicated tourist line, its main design feature is a fully elevated monorail system with a maximum operating speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The project aims to connect multiple 5A and 4A-rated scenic spots along the route, deeply integrating transportation and tourism. The project is committed to creating a model of "three-rail integration," achieving seamless connectivity between high-speed rail, monorail, and cable cars. Upon completion, the project will fundamentally improve transportation accessibility to the Huangshan Scenic Area, significantly enhance the quality of regional tourism, and contribute to the implementation of China's "Strong Transportation Nation" strategy.
