Singapore Cross-Island Line CR151 Metro Train

The first CR151 metro train for Singapore's Cross-Island Line officially rolled off the production line in Qingdao, China, in August 2024. Designed specifically for the new Cross-Island Line, this 6-car train set features a core design highlight of 5 wide doors per carriage, which significantly enhances boarding and alighting efficiency during peak hours and optimizes the commuting experience. As the first metro project fully manufactured and supplied to Singapore independently by CRRC, the successful launch of the CR151 train not only marks the deep recognition of China's high-end rail transit equipment in the international market but also positions it as the future core operational asset for Singapore's critical Cross-Island Line corridor, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the nation's metro network.
