TianJin Smart train

The "Tianjin Smart Train" is a concept design developed by the Human-Machine Environment System Design Institute of the School of Design and Art at Southwest Jiaotong University, and it won the 2023 iF Design Award. Its core innovation lies in its modular and split design, allowing for flexible configuration of the car body and chassis to meet diverse needs. This concept train utilizes virtual coupling control technology, aiming to achieve highly integrated control of the main systems without the need for physical connectors. The front of the train features a honeycomb design and a futuristic paint scheme, while the envisioned interior space incorporates elements such as wireless charging and intelligent LED interactive screens, perfectly blending technology with a home-like comfortable atmosphere. This project represents a pioneering exploration of personalized space, integrated control, and new energy applications in urban rail transit.
