Smart Rail Train

This project, manufactured and operated by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., was designed in 2021. The system achieves active guidance through virtual track following technology and a multi-axis steering system, allowing for precise control of the driving path without physical tracks. Its trajectory tracking is not limited by the number of carriages, supporting flexible configurations to adapt to different passenger flow demands. It combines the flexibility of buses with the high capacity of rail transit, offering comprehensive advantages such as punctuality, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Its trackless design significantly reduces construction costs, making it suitable for upgrading public transportation in medium-sized cities.
