On May 10, 2024, the first new train for Shenzhen Metro Line 11 and the inaugural train for the fourth phase of Line 3 arrived on the same day. The interior of the new Line 11 train features a blue-purple color scheme, with coordinated seat and handrail tones. The seats are adorned with petal-shaped accents on both sides, embodying a simple and elegant style. Two business-class cabins incorporate design elements such as walnut wood-grain panels and partition screens, aimed at enhancing comfort and privacy for high-end business travelers commuting to the airport. The delivery of these new trains marks the entry of Shenzhen Metro's operational capacity into a new stage of enhancement.
On May 9, 2024, the first train of Fuzhou Binhai Express Line was officially unveiled.The train features a rounded front design, enhancing its approachability. The sides of the train are adorned with black curved window bands combined with a "blue sea and sky" color scheme, creating lines that resemble rolling mountains and waves, echoing Fuzhou's geographical features and visually emphasizing a sense of speed.Inside, the carriage is predominantly white, complemented by the line’s thematic colors. The design not only reflects the unique characteristics of Fuzhou but also provides citizens with a more efficient and comfortable public transportation option.
On April 22, 2024, the first train of the Shanghai Metro Line 3 Extension renovation project was officially rolled off the production line. The project carries out systematic technological upgrading and design optimization for the 03A01 type trains that have been in service for more than 20 years. The carriage design balances humanization and functionality, with a dedicated wheelchair area added to improve barrier-free services. The train is equipped with large-size LCD dynamic route maps and glass-screen destination displays, which significantly enhance information visualization and passenger guidance efficiency. On March 14, 2024, the Dujiangyan M-TR Tourist Passenger Line (tram) is expected to commence trial operation in April 2024. The line spans approximately 20.3 kilometers and consists of one main line and two branch lines. It connects key scenic spots such as Dujiangyan, Mount Qingcheng, and the Panda Valley with transportation hubs, running through the Sunac Cultural Tourism City. The line is projected to significantly enhance regional tourism transportation efficiency, facilitate connectivity between attractions, optimize tourist distribution, and contribute to the upgrade of Dujiangyan’s tourism services as well as the development of a low-carbon travel system.

On October 18, 2023, China’s first "Science Fiction Bus" featuring futuristic livery, moon-like surface flooring, and integrated sound, light and electric elements officially debuted at the World Science Fiction Convention held beside the Chengdu Science Fiction Museum, which resembles a nebula. On June 14, 2023, Shanghai Shentie unveiled for the first time a model of a Class C regional railway train designed for a speed of 160 km/h. The train is developed based on a high-speed EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) platform and deeply integrates the operational demands of regional railway transit systems. On June 1, 2023, Alstom announced that the first batch of high-capacity metro trains manufactured by Changchun CRRC Alstom Rail Vehicles Co., Ltd. (CARC) for Singapore is set to enter service on the city’s MRT East-West Line and North-South Line. Featuring German design, the trains fully incorporate commuter-friendly concepts: carriages are equipped with LCD screens for real-time information updates, large windows to optimize views of the urban landscape, and spacious dedicated areas for wheelchairs and strollers, significantly enhancing travel inclusivity and comfort. On March 31, 2023 , China's first full-element test system for high-temperature superconducting (HTS) maglev achieved its inaugural levitation and run.The system, independently developed by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., successfully carried out its first operation, comprehensively validating key technologies such as the superconducting magnet, linear synchronous traction, inductive power supply, and cryogenic.This milestone represents a major technological breakthrough for China in the field of high-temperature superconducting maglev, laying a solid foundation for the future engineering application of superconducting maglev transportation systems.
